Read the current item tooltips. The official dev log says event Jack-o'-Lantern harvests can be exchanged for candy; Super Sweet Feed also lets animals produce candy. Use the route available in your save, without treating ordinary Pumpkin or Pumpkin Fragment as equivalent.

Read the dedicated event shop's Halloween Candy price and reward. If it permits a small exchange, complete one and compare the candy balance and received reward before buying more.

Troubleshooting
- No event or booth interaction
- Compare the official trigger-fix entry before assuming the event calendar or save is wrong. Open the relevant guide.
- Fragments instead of festival tokens
- Use the fragment section below; no universal fragment-to-token rate is verified.
- If ordinary pumpkins cannot be exchanged, check that you bought and planted the special event seeds from the festival booth.
- If the Pumpkin Carnival quest does not trigger, compare your build with the official 1.09.6444 fix. Install the available platform update and retry once; preserve the save and record the quest state if it still fails.
- If you cannot find the booth, check the town-center map markers and the event state before assuming the save is broken.
- If a Gmax or giant pumpkin produces fragments instead of tokens, record the exact item tooltip and reward screen rather than merging the two systems.
- If points or rewards do not appear, record the exact crop name, booth, platform, build, and before/after balance.
